Scarecrows on Parade

Take part in the 25th Annual Scarecrow Fest and make a SCARECROW, or two! You can make a contemporary or traditional Scarecrow. Don’t think you can make a SCARECROW?  That is why we have provided some basic instructions for you here! Anyone can make a scarecrow!

This YEAR!: We are having a Book themed Scarecrow Category, in honor of the library’s expansion. We will have anonymous judges from the community pick the winning entry. The winner receives $50 AND $50 to their favorite Local Non Profit!! Why not enter?

Scarecrow Contest Details:

Businesses, Organizations, and individuals can enter our Scarecrow Contest. Our Scarecrow Walk will begin in early September. Two options for submission.

Option #1:  $15- Includes wood cross, directions, straw, & Entry Fee.
Kits can be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce, 52 E Walworth Ave
Please call ahead to Malinda or Monica at 262-728-5095, so we have enough of all the parts.

Option #2:  $5- Entry Fee Only. (You provide your own supplies)

Who picks the winners? The Public will choose the winning entries. A guide will be created and distributed on September 13; the guide maps out the scarecrows.
